Aircraft description
This 160HP Piper Cherokee was imported to Australia and utilised as a factory-new Piper demo aircraft during the 1960's. Fitted were all the factory options including sun visors, a baggage door & fresh air ducts. With 184 litre tanks and a re-pitched prop for cruise, the aircraft will perform at 110kts with a fuel flow of 39 litres per hour at 2550RPM, or 100kts at 2400RPM with an endurance of over 5.75 hours (less reserves).
The aircraft also features 'Knots 2 U' wing root covers for additional performance and recently-fitted LED strobes and digital CHT /LED colour display. In 2020 a new alternator and new control cables were fitted and the seats were re-covered. Will come with fresh oil change with sale.
