Whitney Boomerang DW200
Aircraft description
Price INCLUDES 2 x 'identical' aircraft (1 x fully flying, 1 x spare / needs engine overhaul)
The Whitney Boomerang DW200 is an Australian two-seat, fixed tricycle gear aircraft originally designed for flight training, touring and personal use. The type certificate was granted in 2007 (one of only 5 Australian types to be granted an FAR 23 certificate). The Whitney Boomerang was produced by Dean Wilson Aviation at Kingaroy Airport until 2011.
This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase two complete aircraft! Both aircraft were utilised for flight training at Jandakot, but no longer required due to scaling down of operations. The second aircraft can be either used as a spare, or brought back into service (last flown approx. 2 years ago). The type offers good flight characteristics, 6+ hrs endurance, similar operating costs to the Piper Tomahawk, easy maintenance, well proven design - and a comfortable cockpit environment with centre throttle and mixture control quadrant. Full details and logbooks (for both aircraft) on application.
