Van's describes the -7 as "Fast. Cool. Fun. One Serious Flying Machine". It's difficult to argue otherwise. Unlike its predecessor, the RV-7 is a genuine tourer, with its predecessors responsiveness, room for two 6' tall adults seated side-by-side in comfort, stability at low speeds and 45kg of luggage allowance. This almost new aircraft has been meticulously crafted and painted. And flight-testing has proven that it's just that smidge faster than the average -7.
