In 1971, Piper released a Cherokee 140 variant called the Cherokee Cruiser. Although the aircraft kept the 140 designation, it featured a 150HP Lycoming O-320-E2A or O-320-E3D power plant for better performance, and Warrior-style cockpit.

This very special, IFR rated Cherokee is offered to the market with exceptionally low total time plus a range of STC's and improvements that make it truly unique. Features include a Power Flow exhaust (adding 15-20HP), extended wingtips (reduced stall speed to 37kts and better performance), gap sealed flight controls, propeller reshaped with vortex generators. 110kts IAS and excellent climb performance. New control cables fitted circa. 2020. STC approved copper cables (battery) improving starting performance.

A full suite of Garmin avionics including Garmin 430W, new Garmin G5, Garmin ADSB transponder and JPI fuel computer (coupled to GPS) completes the package. Fresh annual with sale (completed March 2025). Seller is happy to fly the aircraft to most locations (fuel charge additional).
