Piper PA-24-260B Comanche
The Piper Comanche 260B superseded the 250 in 1965 with an extra 6 inches in length, a 3rd side window and an additional 10 horsepower to the offering. Over 1000 units were produced until factory floods in 1972 stopped production and attention turned to the Arrow lineup.
This low-time aircraft offers a newly refurbished interior and fresh paint in 2018, propeller overhauled (2020) and under 650 engine hours SMOH (top overhaul completed 2022). A new landing gear motor has been recently fitted - and a Garmin 430 GPS installed for the new owner to have the aircraft upgraded to IFR if required. A fresh annual will be completed for the sale in September 2024, providing 12 months of risk-free flying.
