Mooney M20C Ranger
Aircraft description
NEGOTIABLE - MUST SELL!
Certified in 1961, the M20C was the most popular of the Mooney range at the time (and since - eclipsing unit sales of the M20J by over 40%) and assisting to propel the company into profit for the first time. Known as the 'Mark 21' (and later the 'Ranger'), it included improvements over the first aluminium model (the M20B). These included greater deflection on control surfaces, reduced cowl flap openings, improved exhaust, new battery access door, improved landing light, lightweight floor, an increased MTOW (and lighter empty weight), new instrument panel layout, and a higher maximum flap angle of 33 degrees.
This aircraft offers low total, engine and prop times, newly service generator / regulator, new exhaust - along with 8 months to run on the current annual. A fast, economical and reliable tourer for the RPL / PPL pilot looking for an upgrade from a fixed gear aircraft.
