Jabiru J-160D
Aircraft description
REDUCED TO SELL!
Arguably the best training aircraft produced in Australia, the Jabiru J-160 drove the Bundaberg company to become one of the most successful light sport aircraft manufacturers in recent times. Two models were developed (J-160C & later the D), in both amateur-built kit and factory built versions. The aircraft was later developed into the J-170 with 1.5m more wingspan to fit within LSA rules across the world.
Owned by a licensed LAME/L4, this beautifully presented and maintained factory-built aircraft is offered with the latest Gen 4 engine (fresh top-end overhaul carried out by Jabiru in accordance with JEM-0001), upgraded Mk 3 brakes and a suite of avionics rarely seen in an aircraft of this type. A dynamic balanced propeller, freshly overhauled carburettor and host of extras (including headset), completes the package; an aircraft perfect for an RAAus Flight Training School (FTS), or for private touring.
