Aircraft description
Built as a UC-61A for the USAAF and immediately shipped to England under the Lend-Lease agreement for use by the RAF and the Air Transport Auxilliary, flown mainly by women pilots. She was placed on the UK civil register post-war and exported to Australia in 1952.
With the present owners for the last 25 years, 'Daphne' has always been hangared.
She is registered with the Australian Warbirds Association and has a Special C of A in the Limited Category.
Log books post-war including UK civil flights available.
