The 172P was introduced in 1981 with the new Lycoming O-320-D2J engine (replacing the problematic O-320-H2AD). A decreased maximum flap deflection of 30 degrees allowed a gross weight increase of 45kg over the 'N' model.
This well-presented 172P offers long-range 235L tanks, 507kg useable weight, plus low engine and propeller times. Always hangared, with excellent cylinder compressions, tidy interior and good paint, the aircraft also comes with a custom cover & wheel spats. This is a rare, late model Cessna with nothing to spend on the airframe, engine or propeller.
